Hill Holt Wood & Norton Big Wood - Following the latest guidance from the Government urging everyone to stay at home, we have made the decision to CLOSE our woodlands to the public until further notice. This includes closure of our Hive Café. We will continue to serve our community as best we can during the pandemic but do not want to risk anyone becoming unwell. Thank you for your continued support, we will update you when these circumstances change.

A-Maze In Nature
Now - September 2020

Mondays : 11am - 2pm

 

Hill Holt Health are proud to announce the grand opening of the 'A-Maze In Nature' project. Running from March - September 2020, situated in our ancient woodland site at Norton Big Wood, we will be constructing a Labyrinth incorporating Woodland Furniture and a wealth of flora and fauna into the design. Build Your Skills

Starting 28th July

Tuesdays & Wednesdays : 11am - 2pm

 

Commencing 28th July 2020, Hill Holt Wood are inviting participants to engage in our 'Build Your Skills' project. Spread over an 8 week period, our project aims to deliver accredited sustainable construction skills to aid people and our planet. Participants will gain hands-on experience in natural building techniques (including yet not exclusive to) Nortic Log Cabin building, lime/clay rendering, timber framing and sustainable landscaping, alongside completing accredited courses in Straw Bale Building and Reciprocal Framing

Our Bright Future

Growing Up Green is part of Our Bright Future, a £33 million programme funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and run by a consortium of eight organisations which is led by The Wildlife Trusts. Our Bright Future aims to tackle three big challenges facing society today – a lack of social cohesion, a lack of opportunities for young people and vulnerability to climate change.

On April 1st 2018 we launched COUNTRYSIDE NK, our 10-year partnership with North Kesteven District Council to improve the local area for all to enjoy. We are maintaining clean, green and safe access to the network of walks and other areas to promote active lifestyles.
