Careers / Exam Coordinator

(Maternity Cover)

Salary : £20,369.00 pro rata

Contract : Fixed Term, Maternity Cover until January 2022

Hours : 24 hours per week, 4 days per week (flexible which days) 9.30am-3.30pm

Holidays : 14 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays

Overview

Hill Holt Wood is a nationally recognised and award-winning Environmental Social Enterprise. It currently employs 37 full and part time rangers and is engaged in a wide range of activities including the education of young people, extensive forestry operations, contracts with the local council, eco-construction, both design and build (Design: HHW), and events and hire, including the Hive Café. It has enjoyed considerable success over the last 18 years and continues to build on its strong position focusing on sustainability, environmentalism, conservation and social awareness.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Planning, co-ordination and delivery of careers provision

  • 1-1 interviews and career action planning with learners

  • Completing learner 8-week reviews

  • Continue to provide provision in line with Quality and Careers standard

  • Planning and co-ordinating education site visits and attendance at careers fairs

  • Exam co-ordination

  • General education admin support

  • General pastoral/behaviour management

  • Liaising with the Training Manager to ensure high quality of provision for all learners

  • Attend regular team meetings and standardisation workshops

Qualifications

  • Level 3 IAG or equivalent industry experience

Full driving licence essential.
