Hours : 40 hours per week, 5 days per week 8.30am - 4.30pm

Holidays : 24 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays

Overview

Hill Holt Wood is a nationally recognised and award-winning Environmental Social Enterprise. It currently employs 43 full and part time rangers and is engaged in a wide range of activities including the education of young people, extensive forestry operations, contracts with the local council, eco-construction, both design and build (Design: HHW), and events and hire, including the Hive Café. It has enjoyed considerable success over the last 18 years and continues to build on its strong position focusing on sustainability, environmentalism, conservation and social awareness.

Hill Holt Wood is seeking an administrator with relevant experience to staff our main reception, carrying out general administration duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

General administration, including data input.

Handling enquires via telephone, email and face to face including forwarding messages, monitoring and responding to admin emails, dealing with bookings, signing in visitors and taking log orders etc.

General Admin support to all departments of HHW to include:

  • Recording and sending post daily (if required).

  • Photocopying, filing and printing.

 

Admin support for the Education Team including but not limited to;

  • Managing attendance and updating learner registers

  • Producing folders

  • Updating learner files

  • Technical support with documents and photos

  • Logging incident reports

  • Inputting data on main tracking sheet and PICs (IM Programme)

  • Co-ordination of bursaries payments

 

Admin support to other departmental areas including:

  • Processing product enquiries and sales.

  • Monitoring external contract work logs to ensure they are being completed.

  • Process log orders and payments (where required)

Requirements

 

Applicant needs to have excellent IT Skills and be proficient in the Microsoft office suite.

Full driving licence essential.
