Last week we visited the Belfast Hills project in Northern Ireland. Two rangers, one young learner and one youth ambassador caught a plane over the Irish sea and touched down for three days of activities and tours. We surveyed riverbeds and chased butterflies under glorious blue skies overlooking proud Belfast. As always these visits are about even more than the actual exchange, our young people spent the nights in hotels and flew for the very first time. We were delighted to be able to catch up with our friends from Ulster Wildlife who had previously been over to visit Hill Holt Wood earlier this year.
