The Growing Up Green project is varied innovative. Recently we’ve been to some school careers fairs to showcase our Study Programme and talk to youngsters about their options for working in the environmental . conservation sector. We’ve enjoyed showing our model of the Woodhall and explaining all about our compost toilets and rammed earth walls. It’s a great opportunity to open their eyes to what opportunities there are. We’re trying to dispel the notion of conservation and environmentalism being about turning over logs. If the Our Bright Future movement is going to really make an impact; helping young people see what careers are available will be a big part of it. Once we’ve convinced them of the importance of their natural world it’s vital we show them how they can get involved with saving it.
